We maximize funding opportunities from IIJA, IRA, and other sources, strategically aligning with the City's infrastructure needs. Our team coordinates responses, applies for competitive grants, and explores financing options to drive transformative infrastructure improvements for our community.

Grants Management  

• Research grant opportunities and coordinates applications. Whether MOID will be the lead in applying for grants or a specific agency will be in the lead will depend on the type and purpose of the grant as well as the capacity of the agency. 
• Leads on grants for cross-jurisdictional subject matter and if the scope is inter-agency. 
• Liaises federal, state, and private entities on the terms and conditions of grants and ensure required reports and documents are submitted.  

Contracting and Capital Support  

• Evaluates the financial and policy impacts related to infrastructure projects and initiatives. 
• Coordinates the contracting methods and instruments, including ancillary MOU, federal funding agreements, and cost-sharing agreements. 
• Assists on policies and procedures related to infrastructure investment and improvements.   

Project Management  

• Coordinates monthly project reviews with city agencies on critical infrastructure projects
• Facilitates monthly meetings with top City leadership to drive decision making on long-term capital funding and execution support
